The Loop > 2017 Recap of Manhood Journey Highlights

In Ministry Updates, Blog, News by Ryan Sanders / December 27, 2017

The Loop is your inside track on what's happening at Manhood Journey (MJ). In this post, we loop back through 2017, glance into 2018 and then finish strong with how you can come alongside us now and in the days ahead.

Let's rock and roll.

Manhood Journey's mission is to help fathers build the next generation of godly men. We do this through a number of resources.

As you well know, we also use our 1 on 1 and Group Study Guides as the core of what we do. These guides are the ultimate experience we want dads and sons to journey through.

We also have other helpful resources like our blog posts, eBook, events, Bible Reading Plans and podcasts to help fathers learn and teach biblical manhood

2017 by the numbers

This year has been a busy and awesome year of growth in many ways.

Highlights from 2017

Aside from the numbers, Manhood Journey is grateful to have been featured on several major outlets and partnered with some amazing organizations. Allow us to name a few:

We also released of the State of Biblical Fatherhood survey and results.

What's coming in 2018?

Study Guides

Our 1 on 1 and our Group Guides are helping dads connect with their sons and help small groups grow together. This will continue being our core experience for dads and sons in 2018.

New Digital Course

In just a few days, we'll have a brand-new resource for you. It'll only be available for a limited time—so pay close attention. It's a new digital course we've been working on called The Connected Father. We can't wait to release it to you. You'll hear more next week.

Live Events

Mark your calendars for Project: MANHOOD again on May 18, 2018. We'll host dads and sons for another 24-hour camping retreat. We're pumped for this. We had such a blast last year with this event, we had to do it again in 2018! Stay tuned for registration details. Keep your eyes peeled as we have additional live events in the works. They're so secret we can't mention them yet. : )

Mother-Daugther Study Tools

We're almost ready to release the new mother-daughter Bible study we've been working on with Heart of Womanhood. We're so close! Be on the lookout for the release of these helpful digital resources for moms and daughters in January.  It's not too late to help fund the launch here.

How can you help Manhood Journey?

We get it. When we say, "We're helping fathers build the next generation of godly men," it's tough to argue that this isn't needed. What's also tough sometimes, is knowing how you can help fulfill this mission.

We have some ideas—three ideas to be clear:

1 Pray

Pray for Kent and myself. Pray for our board, our growth and development committee and ministry partners. Pray we stay on mission and do the essential—not the busy unessential.

2 Connect

Do you know any pastors, men's ministry leaders, churches, organizations or dads who would be helped by connecting with Manhood Journey? If so, hook them up with us! If a dad needs our resources, share the link to the free eBook or the free sample of our Embarking 1 on 1 Guide. Have your pastor email me. Email me and copy your pastor or men's minister! You get the idea. But know, we're always on the lookout for additional partners.

3 Donate

Please pray and connect us with others. And while you're at it, consider helping us financially. Monthly would be nice. But we'll take one-time gifts as well. All tax deductible, of course. We do what we can.

Again, thank you for all of your support of this father-son ministry. We look back at 2017 with fond and grateful memories. We look forward to 2018 with hope and anticipation that we can do some big things in helping more fathers build the next generation of godly men. Let's go.
